Laughter
Your laughter lights my days
making my dawns glow
filling my nights with stars
The joy you have given me
I will carry forever
deep inside
A twinkling sparkle of humor
on an otherwise dry plain of existence
carrying me through my life
making me smile
Shaking my composure at times
reminding me humbly of life
yet always there
the laughter
lurking
Waiting to spill from every pore
welling up in my eyes and heart
rolling down my sides
tickling my feet
And finally resting in my soul
comforting me like an old friend
welcoming me home
